Roger Gray has been appointed underwriting manager and joins from Folgate Insurance. He was head office underwriter at Lombard Insurance for 15 years.

Zurich North America and Zurich London announced today the addition of two senior political risk and credit insurance underwriters to the Zurich Emerging Markets group.
Navaid Farooq will be located in London, while David Anderson will be based out of Zurich North America's Washington DC location.
Farooq was formerly associate director at Standard & Poor's, London where he worked for the Sovereign Ratings.
Prior to joining Zurich, David Anderson was the assistant vice president at FCIA Management Company. He also held the position of vice president at Citicorp International Trade Indemnity.

Gavin Wilkie has joined HSB Haughton as account executive based in its Glasgow office and Murdo Kennedy has undertaken the role of development executive operating from its new branch in Edinburgh.

Chris Booth joins Forbes as an associate from Keoghs, Bolton, to focus on insurance and local authority work, specialising in employer and public liability work and housing disrepair
Elizabeth Cass joins Forbes as an assistant solicitor and will specialise in local authority insurance work. Shainara Soge moves back to Forbes as a paralegal and will assist the lead partner.

He has 20 years' experience in the industry and is a former field operations manager with Norwich Union.
Quest Gates has also appointed liability adjuster Will Pearce who was previously with Cunningham Lindsey.

Philip Austin has joined GAB Robins as UK high net worth director. He began his career as an independent auctioneer, joining the adjusting profession in 1987.
He previously headed the fine arts and high net worth department at Miller Fisher.

Schroders has appointed Stephen Rees to its research team.
He joins from Baring Asset Management where he most recently was head of the quantitative investment team. Prior to this, he worked at Rothschild Asset Management, Quorum Capital Management and the former SG Warburg and BZW Investment Management.
Autoglass
Autoglass has appointed Paul Garvey as the new regional manager for East Anglia, South Lincolnshire and Leicestershire.
He began his career as a fitting technician with the UK's leading vehicle glass repair and replacement expert 12 years ago and comes to the role with considerable experience in the industry.
Having previously held the branch supervisor and network manager roles at Autoglass, Garvey was most recently branch manager at Bedford.

Deloitte Consulting has appointed Louis Jordan as head of its global insurance practice.
Jordan joined Deloitte Consulting in early 2001 from KPMG.

Sally Rainbow-Ockwell joins as managing director of group IT. Prior to joining Helphire she worked in IT management for 16 years and also ran her own IT consultancy.
