Healthcare provider Goodhealth Worldwide has appointed Lucy Macfadyen and Jenny Sanderson to its client liaison team. Macfadyen joins from Cunningham Lindsey UK, where she specialised in flood claims. Previously she worked at Valentines, an intermediary of the A Plan group.

Sanderson worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland for eight years and at Churchill Insurance for three years in the customer service departments.

Davis Group
The Davis Group announces five appointments. Ian Richardson has been appointed financial controller and joins from KPMG.

He has experience of carrying out audits and other financial services across a wide range of industries.

Mel Neale, formerly marine manager at Independent, joins as head of marine cargo underwriting facilities at Davis Specialist Risks. He will develop new business and consolidate his close relationship with existing broker clients.

Liz Johnson joins from AXA, where she was a commercial underwriter and helped manage the company's training needs. She will be underwriting manager at Davis Schemes.

Johnson and Neale will help develop new training facilities at the company's head office in Newmarket.

Paul Johnson and Robbie Farrington join the expanding haulage team from AXA and Norwich Union respectively.

Watson Wyatt
Catherine Cresswell has been appointed as senior consultant at insurer Watson Wyatt. She joins from the Government Actuary's Department, where she was chief actuary in charge of the general insurance team, providing advice to the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and EU applicant countries. She qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1984.

Miller Insurance Group
The Miller Insurance Group (Millers) has created a strategic alliance with the StarLine Group's new UK office, Starline UK Insurance Intermediaries (Starline UK).

Accident and health insurance and reinsurance specialist Starline UK is lead by managing director Keith Steed, who has over 38 years' experience in the sector. He will develop and place US medical and personal accident business into the London and European markets.

Allianz Cornhill
Russ Hargreaves has been appointed national broker manager for Manchester at Allianz Cornhill. He will be responsible for profitability and development of national brokers based in the North West.

He previously worked for Aioi Insurance and prior to that was a regional manager at Iron Trades.

Ecclesiastical
Ecclesiastical Insurance Group has appointed Keith Hall as branch manager responsible for Ecclesiastical's offices in Bristol and Cardiff. He has nearly 30 years' experience in insurance and was previously regional manager, covering the South West, for Independent.

Europea
Accident and health underwriting agency Europea has appointed Caroline Popoola to its policy administration team. She has nine years' experience in insurance and worked for Travel and Personal Underwriters for four years.

Rarrigini & Rosso
Broker services support provider Rarrigini & Rosso Group (R&R) has appointed Chris Conway as non-executive chairman.

Conway, 57, has held variety of senior positions in the IT industry, with leading companies such as IBM, Digital and Compaq.

The Bollington Group has taken on two new staff members.

Helen O'Connor and April Kerr join the motor trade division.

Bland Bankart
Bland Bankart has appointed Bob Powell as technical chief.

Powell will be responsiblefor intensifying the development of risk management and technical advisory expertise throughout the group's general insurance divisions which are based in Leicester, Nottingham, Luton, Cardiff and Birmingham.

He was previously a regional managing director for a national broker based in Huddersfield and Bradford.

Riskclick Inc
Riskclick, insurance and risk management software provider, has announced that Robert Clements will join its board of directors as a non-executive director.

Clements has been chairman of Arch Capital Group since 1995 and, in 1994, founded MMC Capital, where he was chairman and chief executive officer until March 1996. He is a director of XL Capital and Annuity and Life Re.

DWL
DWL, provider of real-time enterprise customer management applications, has announced the appointment of John Baumstark as president and chief executive officer. He will be responsible for overseeing DWL's global operations and scaling the company's growth into new vertical markets. With more than 20 years' technology experience, Baumstark most recently headed Ariba's marketplace division.

DWF
North West law firm Davies Wallis Foyster (DWF) has appointed three new partners to manage the firm's growing property and insurance order books, bringing the partnership total to 54.

Property finance specialist Roland Maguire and insurance specialists Anita Noce and Ian Macalister have all worked with the firm for a number of years. Their partnership role reflects their increasing responsibility for business development and quality management.

AXA Assistance
Assistance organisation AXA Assistance UK has confirmed the appointment of Matthew Poll as business development manager with special responsibility for healthcare. Poll joins from Schering Health Care where he was women's health specialist responsible for developing new business within primary care trusts and hospitals. Prior to that, he worked for BASF as senior territory manager.

BUPA Membership
BUPA Membership has appointed Dr Natalie-Jane Macdonald to the newly created post of medical and health care purchasing director. Macdonald will also take on responsibilty for clinical leadership in BUPA's insurance business. She will also chair BUPA Membership's medical and health policy committee.

Macdonald has worked at BUPA since 1994 and has been promoted from the position of head of health care policy and development. Previously, Macdonald worked as head of ethics and international affairs at the British Medical Association.

ABS Body Shop Services has appointed Steve Russell as regional network manager for the South West and South Wales areas.

He has held several roles in the bodyshop industry, including a ten-year period as an area engineering manager with a major insurance company.
