Oliver Crabtree has joined Watkins Syndicate 457 at Lloyd's as marine liability underwriter. He has also been appointed a director of Munich Re Underwriting Limited (MRUL), the syndicate's managing agency. Oliver joins from Hiscox syndicate 33, where he was group marine liability underwriter.

Andy Robinson has been appointed class underwriter at Chaucer non-marine syndicate 1096. He will be tasked with increasing its activity in the property treaty market, with particular emphasis on the US market.

She will specialise in commercial litigation and dispute resolution in the insurance sector.

Sherwood International, information technology solutions provider to the global insurance market, has announced that Larry M Amundsen has been appointed executive vice president sales and marketing for North America. He will oversee Sherwood's North American sales and marketing programmes for all product lines and services.
Risk Management Solutions (RMS)
Tim Johnson has joined the client development team at RMS. He was previously with Gerling Group Financial Products and has a background in European insurance and reinsurance, notably at Prudential, M&G Re and Liberty Re.
EurotaxGlass's
EurotaxGlass's has appointed Kevin Gaskell as its global chief executive. He will be based at the company's headquarters in Switzerland.
Previously, Gaskell was chief executive of CarsDirect.com's European operation, from which he formed the software company Epyx, and managing director of Porsche Cars Great Britain.

Claire Chowne has joined the actuarial team at financial and insurance recruitment firm Darwin Rhodes. Previously she was with PR firm BSMG Worldwide.

Karen A Green has joined MMC Capital's London office as a principal. She joins from GE Capital, where she was business development director. Prior to this, she was a manager in the corporate finance division of J Henry Schroder Wagg & Co in London.
