Crowe
Kevin Feeley has been appointed active underwriter of Lloyd's motor syndicate 963, part of the Crowe Group.

He originally joined Crowe in 1998 when the group acquired Wellington Underwriting's private motor business.

Norwich Union
Jenny Chapman has joined the media relations team at Norwich Union.

She was previously at the press office of two train operating companies, West Anglia Great Northern Railway and C2c Rail.

St Paul Syndicate Management
St Paul Syndicate Management has appointed Barnabas Hurst-Bannister as non-executive chairman, and Sally Coryn as corporate communications director.

Hurst-Bannister has been a non-executive director since January 2000. Coryn has been with St Paul at Lloyd's since June 1999 as corporate underwriting director.

Gerling
Peter Middleton has joined Gerling at Lloyd's, the managing agent for syndicate 1206, as underwriting director.

He will be responsible for the future strategic direction of the syndicate, as well as its day-to-day operations.

Middleton has previously held underwriting and managerial positions with Mercantile & General Re, Munich Re and St Paul Re.

SVB Syndicates
Richard Norris and Christopher Webb have been appointed underwriters for syndicate 1007, SVB Syndicates.

NIG
NIG makes two appointments. Peter Young becomes manager for business operations and is responsible for developing and leading the customer service strategy. He was previously at Norwich Union.

Paul Miles has been appointed product manager and is responsible for motor trade, business cover, tradesman and business from home. He was previously at General Accident and CGU.

Sterling Hamilton Wright
Stephen Duffy has been promoted to head up the agency management and marketing division of Sterling Hamilton Wright. He joined the firm in June 1993 as account executive in the York office. He was promoted to head of the York team in September 1997 and made director in April 1999.

Marshall Wooldridge
Andrew May has joined the board of Marshall Wooldridge. He has 12 years' experience of handling commercial and industrial insurance portfolios.

Robert Cresswell joins as a financial adviser.

Greystoke Legal Services
Greystoke Legal Services has appointed two business relationship managers. Mark Dobson will cover northern England and Rob Gulliver will be responsible for the south west.

The Quest Gates Partnership
The Quest Gates Partnership has appointed five adjusters. Geoff Whiting joins the Harrogate office as senior liability adjuster. He is joined by personal lines and motor adjuster Mel Shaw and household adjuster Gary Carr.

Specialist property adjuster Duncan McLaren has joined Quest Gates Scottish operation, based in Glasgow, and Carl Billings has been appointed adjuster at Birmingham.

CMS Cameron McKenna
CMS Cameron McKenna has appointed four partners. Martin Fox trained with the firm and has developed expertise in construction-related professional indemnity claims.

Stephen Netherway has been involved in a number of reinsurance, insurance/ professional indemnity and general commercial litigation-related matters.

Liam O'Connell trained with the firm and specialises in advising brokers.

Andrew Symons has been based in the Lloyd's office since he joined the firm in 1994, and specialises in reinsurance disputes and issues.

Keoghs
Four partners and an associate have been appointed at Keoghs. Damian Ward and James Heath trained with the firm and both specialise in insurance fraud.

Alistair Graham came to the firm four years ago. Simon Leighton also becomes a partner in insurance litigation. Pamela Moore becomes an associate.
