Prior to joining AKA, Donnelly worked as a business development executive at Chubb Insurance.

AUL has announced the appointment of Michael Carpenter as the company's first chief executive. The appointment forms part of AUL's plan to refocus its business on core areas of expertise in underwriting, predominantly short-tail risk.

Denis Shillington, former president of ENCON group, has been appointed to the board of directors at E-djuster. Shillington has also been named chairman of the firm's non-executive.

Gareth Lloyd has been appointed as IT director for HHH, the UK's number one high street insurance provider. He will be based at the firm's headquarters in Bristol.

Taylor (centre) brings many years experience in marine broking, and was previously with Haven Knox Johnston. Barnham (right) has transferred from Everhard commercial broking team to head the telemarketing operation.

The law firm has announced the appointment of Andrew Simpson as master mariner. Also a qualified solicitor, he has joined the firm's shipping litigation and marine insurance practice.
He brings with him many years of experience in the shipping industry.
