Damien Coates has been appointed commercial management liability manager at AIG Europe to head up the underwriting in its UK and Ireland region.

Colin Campbell has been appointed as area sales manager for Scot Healthcare. His role will be to develop the health cash plan market in Scotland.

Martin Noone has been appointed head of intermediary sales at Bupa. He was previously with the health insurer's corporate sales management team.

Heath Lambert Group has appointed Philip Hallett as chairman, Robin Goodman as director and David Hallows as associate director to its energy team. The three join from Marsh & McLennan.

Willis Group makes three appointments. Richard Bucknall has been appointed chief operating officer.Fred Arnold is appointed chief administrative officer. Mario Vitale is executive vice-president and director of group sales and marketing.

SBJ Group makes four appointments to SBJ Stephenson, its insurance and risk management consultant. Howard Steeples becomes managing director of SBJ Stephenson Group. Judy Baker is regional managing director at the corporate division in New Maldon. She is joined there by Howard Fryer, who is regional managing director of UK Division. John Hembury is appointed divisional director at the Bristol office.

Gail Youd and Adam Jacobson have joined the claims handling team of the International Transport Intermediaries' Club (ITIC).
The Claims People Group
The Claims People Group makes four appointments. John Sowerby is appointed regional executive for the north of England. Peter Matthews is regional executive for the southern region. Richard Simmonds is regional executive for the East Anglia region. Richard Church has joined as an internal consultant at the company's Bristol contact centre.

Philip Austin has been appointed associate director of Miller Fisher to head its fine arts division at the London office.
Keoghs
Paul Smith has been appointed as chief executive of Keoghs. He was previously chief executive of Learonal, a chemical manufacturing company. In addition Keoghs has appointed two new partners and five new associates. Claire Pearson, a specialist in road traffic and employers' and public liability, and Deborah Watson, who specialises in road traffic and personal injury, become partners. The five new associates are Phil Kenyon, Rachel Senior, Lis Shrimpton, Billie Jean Whitaker and David Wynn.
