HSA Healthcare has unveiled a new executive board as the first stage of its corporate restructure. Chris Harrison has been appointed marketing and sales director, Ian Maude as business services director and Mark Day as customer services and human resources director. Day has also been appointed to the HSA main board. The executive board, with chief executive Des Benjamin, will be responsible for the day-to-day running of HSA and will report to the main board headed by HSA chairman Brian Pennicott. Two new non-executive directors – Tony Clark for finance and Peter Isdell-Carpenter for marketing – have also been appointed to the main board.

Chubb Europe
Chubb Europe has appointed Simon Mobey to the new role of European personal lines underwriting manager. Mobey will oversee the growth of Chubb's personal lines brand Masterpiece within Europe, but will be based in London.

Auto Indemnity
Auto Indemnity has appointed David Sandhu as operations director. Sandhu was previously technical claims supervisor at Dutch insurer Fortis and has 12 years experience in the insurance industry.

Certa
Environmental insurers Certa has appointed a new business development team. Qualified environmental auditor Matthew Hussey has joined Certa from consultants Enviros Aspinwall. Paul Rose joined Certa in June from Pyke Smith & Cutler, where he was commercial manager. He has a degree in geology and geography. Matthew Davies also joined Certa in June from Heath Lambert, where he was UK and multinational placing broker.

XL Brockbank
Lloyd's managing agency XL Brockbank has made three new appointments. Treaty class underwriter Nick Bonnar has been promoted to replace Nick Metcalf, who has moved from active underwriter of Syndicate 588 to Syndicates 861 and 1209. Former trade and financial risk underwriter David Wright has been promoted to joint deputy underwriter of Syndicate 861 and specie class underwriter Neil Robertson has been appointed deputy underwriter of Syndicate 588.

DLA and Partners
DLA and Partners has appointed Clive Pracy as director of risk management, which is a new position within DLA and complements the existing specialist directorships. Pracy, who has joined DLA from Andersen Consulting where he was associate partner, has more than 20 years of experience in risk management.

David Oliver Associates
Saffron Walden brokers David Oliver Associates has appointed Paul Evans as professional indemnity consultant. Paul will take over responsibility for both new and existing business.

Miles Smith
London brokers Miles Smith has appointed Steven Lee to develop its UK property account. Lee was formerly senior UK property broker and associate director at Towergate.

Savvion
Ebusiness solutions developers Savvion has appointed Bulent Osman as its UK regional director as part of its European expansion strategy. Osman was formerly at JD Edwards as UK sales manager, where he won International Sales Executive of the Year and was twice Top European Sales Executive. He is also a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. He will oversee Savvion's push to increase its customer base in the UK, Scandinavia, the Netherlands and southern Europe.
