HSB Haughton
Bob Howson is appointed development underwriter for HSB Haughton Engineering Insurance Services. He was previously national accounts manager at CGU Engineering. In his new role he will assume responsibility for the company's business in the Republic from EMSS (Ireland).
MMA Insurance
Two appointments have been made at MMA Insurance. Gary Tyler and Paul Cavanagh are appointed field sales representatives to the business development team. In their new roles both will develop MMA's already extensive agency network and generate business at a local level from that network.
St Paul International
Two appointments have been made to St. Paul International Insurance Company in the transportation practice department. Colin Hamling is appointed senior manager and Alan Hoare is deputy product manager.
Groupama
David Gayton is appointed sales and distribution manager at Groupama. In his new role he will reinforce the head office team and ensure the communication channels with our brokers and intermediaries are well and truly open.
Provident Insurance
Two appointments have been made at Provident Insurance. Simon Kneller is appointed director of actuarial services. Richard Tozer is appointed assistant pricing manager. Kneller was previously pricing manager and has qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 1998. Tozer was previously with the Actuarial Department at Cornhill.

Richard Trickey is appointed technical controller liability at Property & Casualty Services. He was previously associate director at McLaren Toplis and is ACII and FCILA qualified. In his new role he will remit cover cases across the company's nationwide network.

Glenn Bremerman is appointed divisional director of Holman Motor Facilities at Holman Insurance Brokers.He has more than 29 years experience in dealing with the Lloyd's syndicates and London market companies.
Anthony K Falcon
Ian Anderson is appointed consultant at Anthony K Falcon. He was previously an executive with the Solicitors Indemnity Fund and in his new role will be an important addition to Anthony K Falcon's strong solicitor team.

Silverbeck Rymer
Two appointments have been made to Silverbeck Rymer. James Pinder and Tim Hoy pictured with Jim Rymer (left), are appointed partners. Pinder is head of the insurance fraud department and Hoy runs its claimant multi-track division.

Institute of Actuaries
Subramaniam Iyer is appointed honorary fellow of the profession at the Institute of Actuaries. He previously worked as chief of the Financial, Actuarial and Statistical Branch in the Social Security Department at the International Labour Office in Geneva.

EBusiness Group
Jerry Mulle is appointed head of EBusiness Group. He will be responsible for ensuring clients receive the best possible advice so they can transform traditional business processes into an ebusiness strategy, as well as understanding changes in legislation that may effect those strategies.
TIA Systems
Caroline Hodgson is appointed pre sales support manager at TIA Systems. She was previously system trainer and sales manager at ACT. She will be responsible for marketing, presentations of the application, organising and attending trade fairs and exhibitions, managing workshops and working with IBM's sales team.
STC
David Bennett is appointed vice president and general manager of Europe, Middle East and Africa division of STC. He has more than 20 years experience in technology. He will lead STC's growing international efforts and develop the infrastructure to foster STC's continued expansion in EMEA.
CSC
Peter Gregory is appointed business consultant at CSC. He has more than ten years experience in the insurance, brokerage and call centre industry. In his new role he will be responsible for new business sales to brokers and intermediaries and account management.
