A team of insurance professionals is trying to track down a rare endangered species to raise money for charity.
Tony Allen, chief executive of Middlesex-based Allen & Allen Group is leading a team of 12 to the Bwindi National Park in Uganda in search of the mountain gorilla.
The sponsored exploration aims to raise £30,000 for African Revival.
The team includes Steve McPherson, Rob Taberner and Steve Barnard from Allen & Allen, Neil Lake from Premium Line and Jonathan Braithwaite Sharon Beckett and Michelle Johnson from Premium Credit.
They are due to leave for Africa on 15 January.
All proceeds will go towards funding building costs, staffing and upkeep of a hospital in Eastern Uganda.
