Groupama Insurances has appointed Amanda Blanc to the newly-created role of distribution and customer services director, in a move which it said would bring new focus to the customer-facing areas of its business.
Blanc will have responsibility for the group's development, agency and customers service activities, as well as for the group's e-trading strategy, and leading Groupama's involvement in imarket.
She was previously regional director at AXA Insurance. Blanc will be based at Groupama's Manchester business centre. She will also take control of the specialist servicing team in Portsmouth.
