Hardy Underwriting has appointed Edward Barker to the board of its subsidiary Hardy Underwriting Agencies, through which it manages Lloyd's Syndicate 382.
It said the appointment was made with immediate effect.
Barker is the senior marine underwriter for Syndicate 382 said Hardy. He joined the Syndicate in 1992 and was responsible has been responsible for the cargo and specie accounts since 1998, said the company.
