RSA chief steps into the limelight.

It’s a far cry from the world of insurance, but Andy Haste, the highly regarded group chief executive of RSA, has this week taken up a non-exec role at ITV. Does this mean some more insurance-related stories will filter their way into Corrie, to follow the soap’s earlier fraudulent insurance claim story line?

Meanwhile, according to the Financial Times, Haste’s name has been popping up in City circles as an ideal candidate to lead a big bank. Under questioning from the Pink ’Un, he is responded with a ‘no comment’. The speculation will continue.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
