The Heath Group has appointed Ian McMullan as director of Heath Lambert Financial and Professional Risks.
McMullan, who joins from Aon, will lead a specialist retail servicing team focusing on the construction sector.
Prior to his appointment, McMullan specialised in UK retail professional indemnity business in the design and construction sectors for Aon. He had previously worked for Willis and Minet in similar roles, said Heath Lambert.
His appointment follows a number of other senior hirings within the company’s financial and professional risks division. Colin Fox, also from Aon, joined as a director at the end of 2003, while Richard Evans joined the team in February as associate director, also from Aon.
Both Fox and Evans will be working with McMullen on construction sector business, said Heath Lambert.
In addition, James Dandridge from HSBC Insurance Brokers joined as an associate director in Professional Risks and will work on general PI business, while a number of support staff have been recruited, it added.
