Heath Lambert Group has said Lucian Cohda is to head an expanding projects division at the broker.
Cohda takes over from Greg Bond, who is retiring from the industry to pursue personal interests.
Graham Barr, chairman, project risks group, said: “There is an enormous amount of money being invested in infrastructure here in the UK and abroad. There is a lot of risk involved and contractors, lenders, investors and authorities need to know they are protected should things go wrong.
"We are looking to grow and develop alongside this increased demand for advisory and broking services."
