Heath Lambert Consulting has strengthened its corporate pensions and benefits team with the appointment of Douglas Walker.
Walker will be responsible for Heath Lambert's Scottish operations.
Northern region executive director Peter Mutch said: "I welcome Douglas's arrival and believe his talents and business connections built up over his career will further add value to the client services we provide."
Walker said: "This is a time of turmoil for both employers and pension scheme trustees. Given the proposed legislative reforms and volatile market conditions, there will be a need for fundamental review of current employee benefit programmes.
"Heath Lambert is ideally positioned to help, and I intend to increase our Scottish profile."
