HSBC Insurance Brokers has appointed Richard Nash and Brian Palmer, both formerly of Heath Lambert, as executive directors of its international property and casualty practice.
Nash will be responsible for developing new property business with a special focus on Scandinavian markets and in particular the larger national and multinational client sector.
Palmer has a remit to develop new international casualty business emanating from clients and producers around the world other than the UK and North America.
HSBC said Palmer would focus primarily on public and products liability exposures, interacting with existing HSBC specialty areas such as directors' and officers' and professional indemnity.
