Andrew Marchington has been appointed managing director of the Insurance Advisory Service.
Marchington was previously at Prudential UK where he was the sales and marketing director of its direct business.
Marchington said: "I am very excited to become a part of this rapidly growing company at an interesting time not only or IAS, but also for the industry.
"The brand name RIAS has become firmly established as one of the main providers of general insurance products to the over 50s and there are some very interesting opportunities to be developed in this growing market."
