Illium specialist liability Syndicate 4040 has expanded its underwriting team with the appointment of Julian Goodall.
Goodall joins from Munich American Re Partners, where he was a senior liability underwriter.
Syndicate 4040 is managed by Illium Managing Agency Ltd, which is owned by Illium Insurance Group Ltd.
Illium Syndicate 4040 writes third party liability, including products, employers' liability, contractors all risks including contractors plant, and product guarantee/recall. Illium has premium capacity for 2004 of £96.5m.
