Paul Baynham, Paul Woodward, Colin Ivory and Matt Hunt have all been recruited to the Illium team, said a report.
Baynham joins as underwriter from AIG Europe, where he was primary casualty underwriting manager with responsibility for a team of 22 in London, as well as having responsibility for casualty teams across the UK.
Following his move to Illium, Baynham will have responsibility for the UK liability account, reporting to active underwriter Denis Burniston.
Woodward, who joins Illium's liability team, was previously senior casualty underwriter at AIG Europe.
Ivory was previously executive director of Willis Global Markets International, where he had responsibility for placing international liability business with Lloyd's and the London market.
Underwriter Hunt joins Illium from GE Frankona Reinsurance, where he was a casualty facultative and direct underwriter, concluded the report.
