Biba conference delegates look forward to several celebrity speakers.
Pop celebrity turned anti-poverty campaigner Bob Geldof (pictured) was set to entertain thousands of delegates at Biba’s 30th annual conference, being held in Glasgow this week. Geldof, the star turn, was due to deliver the keynote address tomorrow. Other speakers included Biba chief executive Eric Galbraith, chair Derek Thornton and BBC security correspondent Frank Gardner.
The theme of this year’s conference, which ends tomorrow, is Influencing Tomorrow, with presentations on terrorism and global warming as well as key market issues.
