The insurance and banking sector is one of the highest performers sectors when it comes to training and development.

In the 2004 National Training Awards the banking and insurance sector had the fourth highest number of finalists.

There were 14 finalists from banking and insurance this year. Of the 23 sectors represented in the awards, it remains one of the most consistent performers year on year.

2004 National Training Awards banking and insurance finalists include: Auto Indemnity (UK), Norwich Union and BIB Insurance Group.

The National Training Awards, which are run by UK Skills on behalf of the Department for Education and Skills, reward training and personal development, with both organisations and individuals eligible to enter.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
