304-year-old Stradivarius worth £1.2m
Insurance companies have offered a £15,000 reward for the return of a rare violin that was stolen from under its owner's nose at a London cafe, Sky News reports.
The 1696 Stradivarius, worth £1.2m, was stolen from musician Min-Jin Kym while she was in a branch of Pret A Manger outside Euston train station. Two bows, together worth more than £60,000, were also taken.
"Instruments like this are almost impossible to replace as they are so unique," Sarah Ottley of Lark Insurance Broking Group told Sky News.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
