The International Underwriting Association (IUA) has appointed David Watson and Eamon Brown to its board of directors.
Watson is currently senior vice president, chief underwriter and general manager of XL Re's London branch. Eamon Brown is chief executive of GE Frankona Re (UK).
Watson succeeds Adrian Ballardie chairman of the IUA's technical, underwriting and executive committee. Brown has a long-standing association with IUA through his chairmanship of the IUA/ABI rehabilitation working party.
IUA chairman Stephen Cane said: "Both XL Re and GE Frankona Re are key re/insurers in this market and I am pleased that we are able to welcome some of their most senior representatives to our board."
