JLT Risk Solutions has unveiled its new expanded energy business unit.
The unit has grown from 30 to 45 people in the past year.
Roger Backhouse, business unit head, said: "We have recruited key individuals with expertise across all areas.
This is being driven, not only by new business wins but by the desire of existing and new clients to develop their
businesses in territories such as Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, Russia and states of the former Soviet Union."
The latest appointments to the business unit include three previous employees of Aon.
Jeremy Swan, former managing director of Aon Energy, is heading up the onshore property and casualty sectors. Paddy McMurray and Rupert McKenzie from Aon join him.
