Legal support service Lawassure has called for businesses and consumers to look for alternatives to expensive law firms.
It pointed to a survey showing the number of customers dissatisfied with their lawyer had doubled in the past year to 21%.
Some 17% of respondents said their chief executives were very concerned about legal bills. High street solicitors charge anything from £100 to £500 to draft a single document, the company said.
