Link Underwriting Agency, the UK arm of Gibraltar-based Link Insurance, has opened a London office in the City.
It said the Fenchurch Avenue offices were the result of an increase in the amount of London market business it had received since its acquisition by Guardian Holdings in September 2003.
Link Underwriting Agency director Mike Bottle, said: “We have plans for further expansion of our presence in London but have chosen to start with infrastructure support for the development of our Fleet and Accident & Health business with a view to expanding the product range further over the coming months.
