Link Underwriting Agency has relocated its management team from Maidstone to new offices in Kings Hill, Kent.

The relocation is the result of the sale of Link to Guardian, a Caribbean-based financial services company, from previous parent The Rubicon Corporation.

Under the deal, Rubicon entered into a long-term agreement with Guardian to continue to provide policy and claims administration services to Link for its range of personal insurance products. Link said these products would continue to be handled from Maidstone.

Link director, Mike Bottle, said: “We have plans to further develop our presence in the UK and expand into Europe, and our new premises provide us with the flexibility to increase our staff base, meeting and technology requirements as we grow.

“The move to Kings Hill is the final piece of the puzzle and the next natural step in the evolution of Link Underwriting Agency.
