Richard Rowney is leaving Barclays Bank to join Liverpool Victoria as group chief operating officer.
Rowney, whose appointment will be effective on 20 February 2007, will take over responsibility for marketing, IT, HR, corporate governance, strategy and change.
Mike Rogers, Liverpool Victoria chief executive, commented: “I am delighted to be able to announce this important appointment. Richard brings a wealth of relevant experience to Liverpool Victoria and will help to drive the whole business forwards.”
