Partners at Teceris resign following plans to axe up to six staff

A clutch of senior staff at loss adjuster Teceris have resigned after management revealed plans to axe up to six staff because of ‘current market conditions’.

Insurance Times understands seven of the senior team have resigned, raising market fears the Capita-owned business would suffer seriously without them. Staff in management and support roles were told of the redundancies on Thursday.

However, Capita said there would be ‘no disruption’ to clients and the business would be appropriately staffed.

A spokesman said: “Teceris is currently undergoing a restructure of its business in order to provide an increased focus on operational performance and business development. In any organisation where there is substantial change, individuals will seek a career elsewhere and a number of partners within the business have expressed a wish to do so. All of these individuals will continue to work at Teceris for the duration of their notice periods.

“We have taken steps to ensure there will be no disruption to the service provided to clients during this period, or following the departures of the individuals concerned, and we will continue to keep the size and range of expertise of the senior team under review, as you would expect, in line with changing market demands.”
