BDML Connect is rewarding women drivers with cheaper insurance.

The Lady Driver policy, which BDML is launching with Highway Motor Polices under its MasterQuote brand, will offer competitive premiums to female drivers due to their superior statistics.

Women were involved in 10,000 fewer road accidents than men last year, according to government statistics, and so are less of a liability.

“It seems unfair that women should be penalised with high premiums when the research clearly shows that they make fewer claims than men,” said Sandy Dunn, managing director of BDML.

The cover includes 24-hour RAC breakdown assistance, uninsured loss recover up to £50,000 and a legal helpline.
