Broking giant Marsh has appointed William Malloy as president and chief executive officer of Marsh's Europe/Middle East Region.
Malloy replaces Daniel Jones from 1 July, who is relocating to the United States at the end of 2003 and will become a senior advisor to Marsh president and chief executive officer, Ray Groves.
Groves said: "The Europe/Middle East Region is one of our most important businesses and has grown substantially under Dan Jones' leadership.
"We are fortunate to have someone as qualified as Bill Malloy to lead our management team in the region as we address its excellent potential for further growth and expanded client service."
