Marsh has promoted Jason Wells to the role of national development director if its corporate client practice (CCP).
Wells will lead Marsh's UK-wide CCP business development team and oversee the practice's sales strategy, said Marsh.
His immediate focus will be on expanding the broker's business with mid-sized companies in specific industries, Marsh said.
Prior to his promotion, Wells was business development director for the southern region. He joined the company in 1996.
