Marsh has appointed Lorraine Savill as vice president for the Private Equity and M&A Practice (PEMA).
Savill will be based in the company's European headquarters in London.
Marsh said Savill will play an integral role in developing transactional risk solutions across Europe and the Middle East.
Savill joins Marsh from HSBC where she was a key figure in the corporate finance insurance services unit arranging transactional insurance products for a variety of clients.
