Caroline Woolley and John Wattrus have joined Marsh's Forensic Accounting and Claims Services (FACS) team.
Woolley has been appointed vice president, while Wattrus has been named as claims consultant.
Woolley has 10 years' experience in forensic accounting. She has most recently worked in BDO Stoy Hayward's forensic services division.
At Marsh, Woolley will take responsibility for preparing business interruption and loss-of-profit cases.
Wattrus has most recently been employed in Kroll's financial investigations department. At Marsh, he will work on the preparation and quantification of BI claims.
Andrew King, FACS European practice leader at Marsh, said: “Losses and subsequent insurance claims can potentially cripple a business in the short term if they are not dealt with quickly enough or, in the longer term, if premiums rise considerably as a result. The FACS team can help clients ensure that all losses are accounted for and are accurately presented to insurance companies, thus ensuring a timely conclusion and a swift return to ‘business-as-usual'.
“Caroline and John have a wealth of international forensic accounting and investigative experience that will prove invaluable to our existing clients and prospects as we expand our customer base over the coming months.”
