Profit down 23% and revenues drop 21% amid fewer accidents

Ai Claims Solutions’s profits were £858,000 for the half year to December 2011, down 23% from £1.19m for the same period in 2010.

The firm’s revenues for the last half of 2011 were £47.5m, down 21% from £60.1m for the same period the year before.

Ai Claims chairman Steve Broughton said: “Ai Claims has delivered a creditable first-half performance in challenging market conditions.”

The drop in revenue comes from warmer-than-average winter weather as well as fewer accidents and reduced time needed for repairs, he said.
