Joseph Morrello has left FM Gobal/Affiliated FM Insurance to join Beazley as Eastern region underwriting manager in the US.
In his new role, Morrello will be instrumental in the development of Beazley's launch of a mid-market commercial property business in 2007.
Mark Bernacki, head of Beazley's US commercial property division, said: "We are delighted that Joe has joined us as we prepare to launch our admitted business in early 2007. His proven expertise for tailoring insurance products for mid-market commercial property clients is a perfect complement to the skills already existing in our growing team."
