Protection at the mudfest.

With the annual mudbath-to-music that is the Glastonbury festival fast approaching, insurers have warned of the insurance perils that revellers face during the weekend ordeal.

Esure was this week advising festival-goers to check their home contents cover before heading off to enjoy the festivities and set up camp. What with thefts from tents, mud in cameras and the risk of personal injury during frenetic bouts of pogo-ing at the main stage, it is no wonder insurers are getting wary.

But with Glastonbury’s growing attraction as a venue for corporate entertaining it is likely there will be a few insurance executives on hand to keep an eye on things – along with a bevy of lawyers and accountants if things get really messy. Which, being Glasto they probably will.
