Reinsurance broker R K Carvill & Co has appointed David Thomas as its managing director.
Thomas, who has worked for Carvill for 24 years in both the UK and the US, previously headed up the company's specialty, programme and medical malpractice divisions.
Most recently Thomas has carried corporate responsibility for planning and execution in both production efforts and marketing of placements.
