W. R. Berkley Insurance (Europe) Ltd appoints Christian Garling to underwrite its Australian professional indemnity business.
W. R. Berkley Insurance (Europe) Ltd has announced the appointment of Christian Garling to underwrite its Australian professional indemnity business. Garling will be underwriting from the company's London office, as well as from its recently opened third floor Lloyd's box.
Garling qualified as a solicitor in Australia for Phillips Fox and also has professional indemnity experience from a previous role in the London market.
W. R. Berkley chief executive Stuart Wright said: "We are delighted to have someone with Christian's skills and experience to specialise in and develop the many opportunities that are currently available from the Australian market."
