Capita and QuestGates panel win

Capita Insurance Services and Questgates have been appointed to carry out road traffic accident (RTA) investigation work for RBS Insurance, following a review of its motor claims service providers. The review has created a panel of seven providers, covering areas such as surveillance, theft and RTA investigations.

Capita confirmed its involvement on the panel. A spokesman said: “Inverita (part of Capita Insurance Services) will provide RTA liability investigations for RBS as part of a two-year contract worth £2.75m. Questgates confirmed its appointment.

Marsh in court over alleged poaching

Marsh is to appear in court this week in a legal battle with United Insurance Brokers over allegations that it poached staff and was given confidential business information about its rival. The case centres on allegations surrounding a former head of UIB’s aviation division.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
