‘This role is central to Dale’s ambition to bring together analytics, insight and market expertise to shape portfolios that deliver sustainable performance,’ says active underwriter
Dale Underwriting Partners has appointed Kevin Flack to the newly created role of head of portfolio solutions.

The firm said that in his new role, Flack will work in close partnership with its senior leadership team and be tasked to “drive portfolio development and enhance data‑led decision making”.
Ian Bridge, active underwriter at Dale, said: “The creation of the head of portfolio solutions role reflects Dale’s continued focus on disciplined, data‑led portfolio management, ensuring the business scales sustainably while maintaining underwriting excellence.
“Flack’s appointment strengthens our ability to respond dynamically to market cycles, innovate across delegated authority and specialist underwriting and deliver profitable solutions for brokers and clients.
“This role is central to Dale’s ambition to bring together analytics, insight and market expertise to shape portfolios that deliver sustainable performance and adapt to an evolving risk landscape.”
Strong foundations
Flack will join Dale’s London office later this year, moving from Atrium Underwriting, where he has spent the last 25 years of his career, most recently as head of US and Canada property and casualty binding authorities at Lloyd’s Syndicate 609.
