The new hire has also joined the board of Dual Corporate Risks

MGA Dual UK has appointed Caroline Stone as chief risk officer, effective immediately, it announced today (6 October 2022).

Stone joins from BGL Insurance, where she most recently served as chief risk and compliance officer.

Prior to joining BGL, Stone was head of risk and compliance at Nottingham Building Society.

In her new role, Stone will be responsible for Dual UK’s risk and compliance teams.

She will report to Richard Clapham – chief executive of Dual UK and Dual Group.

Stone will also join the board of Dual Corporate Risks.

Seeking expansion

Clapham said: “We are delighted that Caroline has chosen to join Dual.

“Our success has always been about attracting the right talent and Caroline’s extensive risk and compliance experience will make an important contribution to Dual and our ambitious growth journey.”

Stone added: “I am very pleased to be joining Dual and I’m looking forward to leading the risk and compliance function for Dual UK.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
