‘This appointment further strengthens our operating model and positions us to capitalise on the rapidly evolving digital, AI and technology landscape across our market,’ says chief operating officer
Miriam Reid has been appointed Arch Insurance’s new head of business solutions, effective immediately.
Reid joins from Beazley, where she spent three years as head of business management and chief of staff for the firm’s global cyber risk team.
Prior to her time at Beazley, Reid spent two decades at AIG, rising through the ranks to hold various leadership positions.
This includes executive manager in the firm’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) department and change partner in the global business change office.
The firm said Reid will be responsible for leading “strategic operations, business improvement and organisational alignment initiatives across Arch” and will focus on “scalable, future-ready solutions that help enhance performance and drive growth”.
Transformation agenda
Reid will report directly to Ketan Motwani, chief operating officer at Arch, and will work closely with the company’s underwriting, transformation and technology teams on initiatives aimed at delivering enhanced value to brokers and clients.
