’This 25-year milestone has prompted us to reflect on where the business has come from and, more importantly, where it is going,’ says managing director
Family broker Lumley Insurance is marking 25 years of leadership under managing director John Lumley with the launch of a new growth strategy.

The firm specialises in private clients with high value homes and luxury assets and since being established in the early 2000s, the company has averaged 10% growth year-on-year.
Alongside continued investment in systems and processes, a key strand of the new growth strategy is the expansion of the company’s partner network, working more closely with professionals such as estate agents, lawyers and other advisors who serve clients with high value portfolios.
Lumley said: “This 25-year milestone has prompted us to reflect on where the business has come from and, more importantly, where it is going. We have built a loyal client base and we are proud to be the largest independent, private client specialist in the high net worth home and contents market.
”Our clients value our expertise as well as the personal approach we take to getting to know them and their lifestyle. This will always be central to the way we work.
“Going forward, we are being more intentional about building partnerships with others who share our values and deep understanding of the high net worth market.
”We are also ramping up our effort to inspire and educate clients and partners about why insurance matters. Ultimately, it’s all about being properly insured and prepared for a claim.”
Brand refresh
Alongside this strategic focus, the business has also refreshed its brand identity to better reflect the company’s “personality and professionalism, while remaining rooted in its heritage”.
