Specialty insurer HDI Global UK and Ireland has launched a new motor fleet portal to provide a one-stop digital platform for fleet operators and brokers.

Developed in-house, the new portal will provide commercial fleet operators with insight into their drivers’ performance, at a depot and individual level, and uses telematics and claims data to identify and highlight any high-risk behaviours, to coach and retrain drivers and improve overall safety.

Meanwhile, brokers have more transparency on their clients’ motor fleets and will be able to monitor their performance in real time.

Michael Reynolds, director of motor fleet at HDI UK and Ireland, said: “Our clients and broker partners can monitor, manage and enhance every aspect of fleet performance through HDI’s new and improved motor fleet portal, helping to make operations safer, more efficient and more transparent, while saving time, cost and unnecessary complexity.”

Additional offerings

In the new portal, users have access to real-time driver behaviour and claims dashboards, e-learning modules for drivers and a comprehensive reporting and document library.

The portal also includes access to professional development with expert-led, flexible online training modules, which are available on a 24/7 basis.

The courses have been developed by the insurer’s internal team of former police driver trainers and telematics experts, to help raise safety standards and improve driver behaviours.
