’Whether someone is driving full time, part time, switching platforms or combining taxi work with food delivery, our new short term insurance product offers the flexibility and affordability they’ve been asking for,’ says managing director
Bluedrop Services has expanded its insurance portfolio with the launch of a new short term taxi insurance product.

Designed specifically for individual taxi and private hire drivers seeking greater flexibility and affordability, the offering enables single vehicle operators to access comprehensive short term cover tailored to modern working lifestyles.
It builds on the company’s established fleet insurance services, which currently support fleets ranging from two to over 1,000 vehicles.
Doug Kelley, managing director at Bluedrop Services, said: “Today’s drivers need insurance that works around their lives – not the other way around.
”Whether someone is driving full time, part time, switching platforms or combining taxi work with food delivery, our new short term insurance product offers the flexibility and affordability they’ve been asking for.”
What does the policy provide?
Bluedrop Services said the product has been developed in response to the growing demand for flexible working arrangements across the private hire and delivery sectors.

The new policy provides flexible 28-day insurance cover that can be quickly and easily extended, giving drivers more control over how and when they work.
As a part of the offering, drivers can also benefit from combined cover for taxi use, food delivery services and personal driving under one convenient policy.
Kelley added: ”Our team understands the fast moving transport industry and the pressures drivers face.
”We’re proud to help drivers get on the road quickly, with cover they can trust and savings that make a real difference.”
