More news out of the Biba Conference 2026 provided this week’s third most read story. Owen Morris, UK personal lines chief executive at Aviva, updated the market on Aviva and DLG’s personal lines integration, saying it was “well on track”.

Also hitting the headlines was the news that Marsh has appointed Helen Haggie as UK chief claims officer for Marsh Risk, effective from 20 July 2026.

In her new role, Haggie will oversee the delivery of claims services to Marsh Risk’s UK clients and support the use of claims data to improve risk management and placement decisions.

The final story to make this week’s top five followed the news that Aon has appointed Tracy-Lee Kus as one of its new co-chief executives for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Emea) in a major leadership shakeup.
