[ADVENT-REVEAL-START]
1. What was your insurance industry highlight of 2025?
Allianz processing a small business’s claim for a stolen vehicle in just 35 minutes, from the first notification of loss to settlement.
This is a prime example of how insurance can make a real difference when it matters most.

It’s testament to the advancements in digitalisation and efficiency within the industry and sharing this story with friends and family – usually over a pint – is a proud moment!
2. What is your Christmas message for your insurance colleagues?
As the festive season approaches, I extend warm wishes to all of our colleagues in the insurance industry.
The Christmas celebration circuit kicks off early for many of us – but for those who are limping toward the finish line, may you find a good dose of energy and joy to carry you through to the New Year.
Enjoy reflecting on the year’s achievements and take time to relax and enjoy the company of loved ones!
3. What do you hope to find under the industry’s Christmas tree for 2026?
I hope the insurance industry continues to be marked by accelerating competition, innovation and digitalisation next year – 2025 certainly has!
Many have big ambitions and it’s certainly driving fresh thinking and new approaches – ultimately with customers benefitting.
I hope this makes for an even more resilient and customer-focused industry during the years to come.
