[ADVENT-REVEAL-START]
1. What was your insurance industry highlight of 2025?

My highlight of 2025 was transitioning into a full-time executive role at McCarron Coates.
It was a significant career step for me and one that really accelerated my growth in knowledge, performance and overall development as a broker.
Stepping into a position with more responsibility has pushed me to level up quickly, build stronger relationships and deepen my understanding of the sectors I work in.
Looking back, it’s been a year of real progression and I’m proud of how far I’ve come in such a short space of time.
2. What is your Christmas message for your insurance colleagues?
Insurance can be high-pressure and fast-moving and it’s easy to forget the human side of what we do.
My message this Christmas is simple – be kind to yourselves and to each other.
Take the well-deserved break, slow down for a moment and give yourself credit for the work you’ve put in this year.
Use the downtime to reflect, reset and come back ready to go again for a huge 2026.
3. What do you hope to find under the industry’s Christmas tree for 2026?
For 2026, I’d love to see greater investment in attracting and developing young talent.
Biba is already making positive strides by working more on the ground engaging schools, workshops and universities and I think expanding those efforts will make a real difference.
We need to tell the story of this industry better and show the next generation what a rewarding career insurance can offer.
Bridging the talent gap will only happen if we actively invest in visibility, education and opportunity.
That’s the gift I hope to see under the industry’s tree next year.
