‘This new platform will enhance the value of the broker-client relationship by equipping our brokers with data-driven insights and greater efficiency,’ says president
Marsh has today (22 September 2026) launched a new artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted placement platform, Broker WorkBench.

Marsh said that the tool – developed by its UK specialty team – will function as an “AI-powered platform designed to transform how Marsh’s brokers operating in the London insurance market serve their clients”.
It added that the platform combined “streamlined workflows with intelligent data processing” to help brokers “match and send placement requests to the London insurance market, negotiate terms and bind contracts for lead markets, digital followers and pre-arranged follow-form insurance capacity”.
The firm said it hoped that by automating routine administrative tasks, the platform will be able to reduce industry average placement times of two to four weeks to a scale of days to hours.
All recommended placements will continue to be approved by Marsh’s brokers before being presented to clients.
Significant investment
Andrew George, president of specialty at Marsh Risk, said: “Broker WorkBench represents a significant investment in Marsh’s AI and technology capabilities, designed with a clear purpose – delivering better outcomes for our clients as they navigate an increasingly complex risk environment.
